JABSCO flexible impellers are available in the following materials:
1. NEOPRENE
is the standard impeller material used in mostflexible impeller pumps. It offers a wide range of chemicalresistant properties.Temperature range: 45°F to 180°F.
2. NITRILE
impellers offer compatibility with oil products. Ithandles a wide range of oils, oil and water emulsions, dieselfuel, lower fraction hydrocarbons, kerosene, lubricating andmachine cutting oil. Lower temperatures affect primingability and performance characteristics. Generally, nitrileperformance is 10% below that of neoprene.Temperature range: 50°F to 180°F.
3. VITON
impellers are recommended when pumpinghydrocarbons, solvents and severely corrosive chemicals.Viton is not recommended for low temperature or highpressure applications.Temperature range: 60°F to 180°F.
